Riggins Vintage Re-issue 1/12 1970 Can Am Mclaren M8d Rc R/c Pan Car

This a 1/12 or 12 th scale 1970 Can Am Series McLaren M8D RC R/C Pan Car body, PN: MRL2041. This listing is for one unpainted lexan body only, the mold is show in the listing images for reference purposes only . In all my years of collecting bodies, I’ve never seen a new uncut original and this was pulled from the original mold (it is not reproduction mold or backpour). I bought about 50 original molds several years ago…. I’ve since sold all of them except for three that I’ve kept for myself for display in my personal collection. This is one of those. I don’t think bodies have been pulled from this mold in almost 40 years. This mold was originally made by Riggins, then purchased by Bolink and was one of 7 of the very first bodies ever produced, sold, and included in some kits by Bolink many many years ago. The last photo shows the original catalog (not included in this listing) and is for visual representation purposes only.  It comes with paint overspray film (peel off plastic film) on the outside, hence the blue color. There are no blemishes in the lexan, no thin spots, no wrinkles, nothing. These were pulled by a very reputable vacuum forming source. Those that are familiar with my tenure on RC10talk are familiar with the quality and you will not be disappointed. Lexan is 0.040 thick. Front track 6.25 inches. Rear track 6.625 inches. Wheel base (center to center) is 7.5 inches, but there are no rear wheel arches molded into the body, which will allow it to accommodate other chassis WB measurements. All sales are final.
